Clare and other entrants.

I am thinking about attending.  Where are others staying?  Are there any suggestions about accommodation for one Billy Nomates?

Hi everyone

Here is my list of who I think is coming to Llandegfedd at the weekend. Its a total of 18 boats. The more the merrier, and there is plenty of space for us all. We are all set up, and just need Clare to send us some more wind to go with the flags and trophies.

Saturday evening meal organised at local pub and Sunday lunch set up.

Regards, Andy

A glorious day at Llandegfedd. Much to our amazement the wind filled in nicely to permit three well run races. Sunshine and warmth made our day.

 A total of eighteen boats - making this the busiest Open meeting this year (and last?). Here is the overnight position. Three more races to come on Sunday, when its is meant to be Force 3 gusting Force 4.

(I tried to upload a pdf file - may not have worked so here is a crib from the XL sheet)

Pictures from Gul RS Vareo Inland Championship at Llandegfedd;

1   Most of the competitors (Chris Coll and Tom Watt missing)
2   The fleet about to launch. Notice Gul flag flying from a spare mast!
3   Around the first mark in the first race (from a mile away!)

Hope for more sunshine and wind on Sunday

I would like to say a big thank you for a great weekend of sailing at LLandegfedd. The courses were clear and open with some challenging wind shifts to work with. The Race Officers did a fine job. The Welcome was excellent and a good spirit shown by all throughout to weekend. We all enjoyed homemade cakes provided by members’ wives.

This has convinced me to change a lifetime habit and start travelling to find larger fleets. Having 18 Vareos out together was a marvellous sight; and so much better than going round the buoys with the handicap fleet. Roll on 2016.
